This Athletic Development Camp is led by the Ankeny Coaching Staff.
Open to ANY and ALL Students Enrolled in Ankeny High School.
FEED THE HAWKS (TALONS OF THE FUTURE)
High speed performance must be practiced. If you want to hit 5th gear in competition you have to sprint TWO TIMES per week. We will focus on 1 speed day each week where the athletes will be timed. We will be timing 10 yard start, 10 yard fly after a 15 yard build up and 40 yard dash. The other day of the week with be an X FACTOR day. We will focus on running mechanics, explosive movements and introduce the athletes to the weight room.
Each day the athletes will be focused on speed and explosion. The workouts will not interfere with any other activities that the athletes could be doing throughout the winter.
