FUTURE HAWK AND HAWKETTE SOCCER CAMP
July 8th - 10th, 2025

Location: Ankeny High School Turf Field (Tuesday - Thursday)
The Ankeny High School girls and boys' soccer programs are offering a three day camp for future Hawks and Hawkettes. Girls' head coach Simon Brown, boys' head coach Marcus Varnum, staff, and current Hawks and Hawkettes will facilitate age-appropriate training for better understanding of the technical and tactical needs of the game. At the end of the three day long camp, players will have a better concept of the culture within the Ankeny soccer program and what it is like to practice in our competitive environment . Future Hawkettes and Hawks will receive a camp shirt with their registration and also have the opportunity to work with current high school players. This will be an opportunity that allows participants to showcase their ability and foster relationships with their peers and the coaching staff . We will have small training groups based on age and grade in order to provide individual feedback to the participants. Each day we will end camp with competitive games. Day 1: 1v1, Day 2: 2v2 and day 3: a 3v3 tournament, with special prizes for the winners.

HAWK AND HAWKETTE ELITE DEVELOPMENT SOCCER CAMP

Location: Ankeny High School Turf Field (Tuesday - Thursday)
This camp led by Ankeny High School head soccer coaches, Marcus Varnum and Simon Brown, will place each athlete in an environment that mirrors our soccer programs. The camp will focus on improving and enhancing each participant's current ability. Sessions will include technical, tactical, situational games, small sided games and injury prevention. Athletes planning to play soccer at AHS are highly encouraged to attend and showcase their abilities to the current coaching staff.
