BEGINNER WRESTLING CAMP
May 27th - 29th, 2025
Boys & Girls, Grades K - 8th | 10:00am - 12:30pm
Cost: $40
Location: Ankeny High School Wrestling Room (Tuesday - Thursday)
Grade level camps will include the basics of wrestling, with technique covering the neutral position, top referees’ position, and the bottom referees position. We will use a mixture of technique, wrestling games and live wrestling to give the kids an overview of wrestling. Although it is a beginner camp ALL LEVELS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND! This camp will be a great opportunity for summer mat time with like age wrestlers! GO HAWKS!!!!!
3 DAY CAMP
June 4th - 6th, 2025
Boys & Girls, Grades K - 8th | 10:00am - 3:00pm
Cost: $70
Location: Ankeny High School Wrestling Room (Wednesday - Friday)
This three-day camp will be in the format of a TEAM CAMP. On the first day of camp kids will be put into even age, size, and ability teams. Depending on the number of kids, we will have between two and four teams. The camp will incorporate exceptional technique, team building activities where team winners earn points, and the last day will consist of a grade and weight level individual take down tournament. GO HAWKS!!!! Each participant will receive an ANKENY HAWK WRESTLING CAMP shirt, and winners will receive CAMP CHAMP shirts! Make sure you pack a lunch & bring a water bottle!
